You have to visit your parents come to book a flight to visit you, or is it just so messy that you do not have much choice if you want to go to your room to the bathroom without tripping and twisting your neck.
But there are other reasons to clean that you may not have thought. See if one of them will convince you it's time to clean:
1. It's good exercise! Bending over to pick up toys and then recover to put them in their place is great for the thighs, abdomen and back. It's the same thing for laundry. By lifting your heavy package of detergent or your bread machine to put it back on the shelf, you do a great arm exercise. Washing windows is a great stretching exercise from head to toe. Making the bed is also a good exercise for the muscles that you do not otherwise. See your cleaning tasks as a good set of exercises. It will not hurt you to burn a few calories here and there does not it?
2. Living in a clean space has psychological benefits. There is truth in the phrase "cleanliness is next to godliness." You find in a clean can help you clear your mind and relax. A big mess around you can affect the balance in your brain and can cause a feeling of disorder and confusion in your brain. It is much easier to sit on the couch to read the newspaper and enjoy a cup of coffee when you do not see piles of garbage and piles of clothes in your periphery.
3. A clean home is a healthy home. Rub all the germs, wash floors, and discard used tissues will reduce the rate of germs, bacteria and mold in your home. You'll be sick less often!
4. You'll make a good impression on others and friends feel welcome in your home. Nobody likes to be invited into a house full of dirty dishes. Clean accordingly and your guests will think you are a wonderful hostess!
